A supportive community for families of children with Down syndrome.
Get On Down's is a local charity supporting people with Down syndrome and their families in Sutton and the surrounding area through weekly meet-ups, practical help, trusted information and community from pregnancy and beyond.
Who We Support
Get On Down’s is a local charity for people with Down syndrome, their families and carers across Sutton and the surrounding area. We are here to bring people together, share trusted information and help families feel supported from pregnancy until school and beyond.
Whether someone is looking for connection, practical help or guidance through the early or teenage years, we want families to know they do not have to navigate it alone.
Weekly Support Group: A regular space to meet, talk and feel supported
Our weekly support group brings together people with Down syndrome, parents, carers and families from across Sutton and the surrounding area. Come along, meet others and find a little bit of breathing space alongside people who understand. Good coffee, cake and chat provided every week.
Support shaped around real life
Alongside our weekly meet-ups, Get On Down’s offers wider support for people with Down syndrome and the families around them. This includes trusted information around screening and pregnancy, local signposting, practical help and support shaped by real family experiences.
Over time, that support has grown to include hospital information, care packages, specialist sessions, help with forms, EHCP’s and more opportunities for children and families to take part in local activities and events.
