Who We Support

Get On Downs is a local charity for people with Down’s syndrome, their families and carers across Sutton and the surrounding area. We are here to bring people together, share trusted information and help families feel supported from diagnosis onwards.

Whether someone is looking for connection, practical help or guidance through the early years and beyond, we want families to know they do not have to navigate it alone.

Weekly Support Group: A regular space to meet, talk and feel supported

Our weekly support group brings together people with Down's syndrome, parents, carers and families from across Sutton and the surrounding area. Come along, meet others and find a little bit of breathing space.

Support shaped around real life

Alongside our weekly meet-ups, Get On Downs offers wider support for people with Down’s syndrome and the families around them. That includes trusted information around diagnosis, local signposting, practical help and support shaped by real family experience.

Over time, that support has grown to include things like hospital information, care packages, specialist sessions, help with forms and more opportunities for children and families to take part in local activities and events.
